Broome, help stop the dolphin slaughter

The annual dolphin hunt in Taiji, Japan, sees entire pods of dolphins and pilot whales driven to the shallow waters of Taiji’s infamous Cove where they will be ruthlessly killed in front of their family members or, if kept alive, sold to captive facilities around the world doomed to a life of imprisonment in small barren tanks.

By continuing the sister city relationship with Taiji, this barbaric and unnecessary practice is supported by our very own Western Australian Shire of Broome, sister city to Taiji, despite the wishes of the Australian Public.
